Public call for trade and entrepreneurs to apply for funds for which the financial support from the European Union does not have to be paid back

The Ministry for economy, labour and entrepreneurship announced the first tour of public calls for funds for which the financial support from the European Union does not have to be paid back for trade and entrepreneurship on the basis of the operating plan of incentives of small and middle entrepreneurship for the year 2008.

In this year the Ministry has foreseen 351 million Kuna for projects and means for incentive of small and middle entrepreneurship, from which 89 million Kuna for competitiveness and innovations, 8 million Kuna for education in entrepreneurship, 118 million Kuna for stimulation of regional competition, 12 million Kuna for stimulation of development of trade.

The means of the Ministry foreseen for these projects are bigger from the last year’s amount by 35 %, and if financial means for these projects of the other ministries are added, the means for the budget in this year are higher by 50 %.

In the system for the incentive different criteria is introduced for micro, small and middle entrepreneurs, and the emphasis lies on the measures for a speeded growth of entrepreneurs activities, mainly in the sectors with a significant growth potential.

The Ministry calls the entrepreneurs and the trade to respond to the public calls for these funds.
